After Achievement: Dr Nick Long speaks on Cam FM

On Friday 18th November, Nick Long, a postdoctoral fellow and affiliated lecturer in social anthropology here at Cambridge, will be featuring in the inaugural ‘Cam FM Lecture Series’. Nick’s talk is entitled ‘After Achievement’ and draws on his own research in the Riau Islands of Indonesia to explore what happens to people after they achieve, and the role anthropology might play in understanding this.

The lecture will be broadcast at 4pm on Friday 18th, and repeated at 9pm on Monday 21st November. It lasts around 15 minutes and will be accessible to everyone, regardless of how much anthropology they have studied.

You can tune in to Cam FM on Cambridge 97.2 FM, or online at www.camfm.co.uk, where you’ll also be able to use the Listen Again feature to hear a podcast of the lecture for up to 6 weeks after broadcast.
