Environmental Change Group
The Environmental Change Group exists within the Division of Social Anthropology as a forum to assist researchers at all levels in their engagement with questions of environmental change from an anthropological standpoint.
The Group also aims to encourage and mentor students researching or contemplating projects relating to environmental change. This may include—but is not limited to—research on human-induced environmental transformations, resource exploitation and energy systems, vulnerability to climate change impacts, environmental activism and denial, and questions of lifestyle and sustainability.
In addition to convening biweekly seminars, we plan to publish and disseminate research to a wider academic and public audience.
For more information or to participate in the Group, please contact Tristam Barrett tb373 [at] cam.ac.uk and Jonas Tinius jlt46 [at] cam.ac.uk.
