Teaching at Cambridge

At undergraduate level, students receive a detailed and deep introduction to key issues in anthropology, but are taught through a flexible ‘supervision’ system that allows them to pursue their passions and interests from the very beginning.

For postgraduates, we offer first-class training in anthropological theory, methods, and research design, including regular masterclasses with leading anthropologists from around the world. Our postgraduate courses are designed to foster a spirit of independent anthropological enquiry, and to produce young scholars with the skills and knowledge to address the questions that they are passionate about.
