An RAI event
Elisabeth Hsu, Hayley MacGregor and David Shankland have kindly supported Ariane, Nico and Jerome Lewis in organising a day, on Friday 20 May, reflecting on Gilbert's contributions to Anthropology, as a scholar and teacher, and as painter and artist with generous support from the Royal Anthropological Institute.
Talks will be followed by time for questions or comments from in-person attendees and from virtual participants. The day will be closed with an open session for sharing reflections and thoughts about Gilbert chaired by Hayley MacGregor. Contributions from virtual attendees are especially welcome during this session.
