CUSAS Annual General Meeting
The time has come at the Cambridge University Social Anthropology Society (CUSAS) for new people to join our committee for the next academic year! Please join us to elect a new committee and plan for next year.
CUSAS is Cambridge's oldest Social Anthropology society, established to run events and promote social engagement among all students interested in anthropology. Committee membership in CUSAS gives you an opportunity to arrange talks and events with academics you want to hear from, hold film screenings, socials, and workshops. This is a great way to connect with a broad range of people who have inspired you, both within and outside the Department of Anthropology.
We host our Annual General Meeting (AGM) in Lent Term to elect our officers for the coming academic year! We are opening up every committee role for expressions of interest, and you can read more about each role here. Please note: Both undergraduate and postgraduate students are welcome, though only members of the Department of Social Anthropology are eligible to join.
The committee handover will take place after our Garden Party at the end of June.
If you would like to get involved, or to find out more information, please get in touch at cusas@socanth.cam.ac.uk. We are also happy to arrange to meet people and answer any questions in-person. If we receive multiple expressions of interest for a post we may hold an election for them, but we will discuss this with you first.
Looking forward to hearing from you!
