Tarina Franklin (2024)

 I am an ESRC-funded PhD candidate with a background in the anthropology of body modification (MPhil with Distinction, Cambridge) and in embodiment research, comparative politics and the history of political thought (First Class BA, Cambridge). My current research concerns radical nationalist knowledge production, publishing and historiography in Finland. Beyond academia, I have worked in publishing and political consultancy in Helsinki, as well as in clinical consultancy in London. I also co-edit the Cambridge University Social Anthropology Society (CUSAS) Magazine, have served as the Society’s Postgraduate President, and represent the University in competitive Tae Kwon Do.
