Biography

My research explores epistemic and environmental health justice in South Baltimore, through arts and community-owned civic archiving. Simply put, I am interested in systems that rob overburdened polluted communities of credibility and access to information, and how to fight this by building spaces for inclusive knowledge production, mutual aid, and critical consciousness.

I am fully funded, as the 2025 recipient of the Stephen Toope Studentship. Prior to PhD, I studied social medicine, urban and medical anthropology, and global politics (MPhil Distinction, Cambridge; MA Hons First, University of St Andrews). I am a proud Marylander, dance educator, and organiser.
