The Department of Social Anthropology is delighted to add the top ranking position for Anthropology as part of the Human, Social and Political Sciences degree at the University of Cambridge in the Guardian's latest guide, to their list of former external recommendations from QS World University Rankings in 2018; the Complete University Guide in 2023 and from WhatUni who Social Anthropology at Cambridge as the top destination in the UK for a PhD.
Published in the autumn, the Guardian University Guide 2023 ranks Anthropology in top position. The guide is an annual review of courses and serves as an online resource for schools and students to assess the best institutions at a top level.
