Department of Social Anthropology

CUSAS is happy to announce that our Annual General Meeting will take place on Thursday 6th of May, 5pm on Zoom.

You can register here: https://cam-ac-uk.zoom.us/meeting/register/tJAkduChpjkoEtFvTIbNrFBjvx4eKu2pbOF7

This is a great opportunity for students to give feedback to CUSAS to make sure that your interests are being met with the events we host. It will also be a chance to meet and formally elect the new committee for 2021/22, as well as being a chance to discuss the new CUSAS constitution and put forward any changes or suggestions.

This is a brilliant chance to get involved in planning student-led academic and social activities. As a CUSAS committee member, you will get experience in planning academic events, from honorary lectures to masterclasses. You will have the opportunity to invite and meet anthropologists from around the UK, and socialise with other anthropology students across cohorts.

All anthropology students, regardless of the year they are studying in, are eligible to be on the committee and we can assure you it is a lot of fun. It would be great if we could get a mixed committee of students from undergraduate and post-graduate cohorts for the next academic year.

We are looking forward to your nominations, either for yourself or others. Please send them to cusas@socanth.cam.ac.uk by Tuesday 4th May.

Please also let us know if there are specific issues you would like to see addressed in the upcoming Annual General Meeting.
