Phenomenologies of Anthropology: Academic politics and pedagogy seminar

Our new seminar series on Academic Politics and Pedagogy brings together academics and students to engage anthropologically with questions about the politics and practices of academia and pedagogy. We hope to engage with existing literature while also turning an anthropological eye to non-anthropological interventions. Professor Matei Candea will be joining us for our second session to consider interestingness.. Before the session, we encourage attendees to read three articles about the topic and to consider their own responses to the articles and the questions with which it engages. The first two are available in Philosophy of the Social Sciences and Social Theory. The third is a manuscript by Professor Candea and co-authors, which is available upon request to cusas@socanth.cam.ac.uk.
